1981 DeLorean DMC-12 - FOR SALE

The more you know about these special cars, the more you will appreciate this one! VIN 01063 (563rd car produced - maybe less?). 30,000 miles; never in an accident. 30K major service just completed. Original owner - I took delivery in Colorado Springs CO in June '81; moved to Southern Cal in Aug. '81 - where car has been exclusively maintained by only the best DeLorean mechanics. The DMC shop that maintains the car always has 10-15+ DMC's being serviced/restored from all over the country. They tell me you can't find one better than this! Always garaged and never driven hard, so no restoration has ever been required - original showroom condition inside and out! Smoke-free. All records. Everything has always worked (and still does), incl. original radio, original clock, windows, door locks, etc. Routinely driven to maintain engine/chassis lubrication.

Car lowered to original factory design specs. Yokohama AVS tires (excellent condition, less than 10K miles). Custom adjustable rear lower control arm to permit camber adjustment. Upgraded electrical system; stainless water overflow bottle & HD alternator. Front and rear painted facia - no oxidization, cracking or discoloration. No cracks in leather seats or dash. New door headliners. Original DMC floor mats & fitted car cover.
